How To Get YouTube's New Home Page Design Today

YouTube is currently testing a new home page format and design. They say these changes are geared towards making the site more social and easier to navigate. The new layout also provides more Google Plus integration. If you would like to check out the new YouTube design today, before it goes live for everyone, you can.

(Steps below are for Chrome and Firefox.)

1. Go to YouTube home page in your browswer
2. Open Developer Tools (Ctrl-Shift-j for Chrome / Ctrl-Shift-k for Firefox)
3. In the Web Console, paste the following code: document.cookie=”VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE=ST1Ti53r4fU”;
4. Finally, reload YouTube and you will have the new layout

As you can see, the new YouTube layout is a 3 column structure and subscriptions are a much bigger focus.
